Business Architect – Controlling Service

We are looking for a Senior Business Architect to support one of our clients in the energy sector. You will act as the bridge between strategic objectives and operational capabilities, focusing on the Customers, Markets and System (CMS) domain, working within the central Strategy Implementation and Transformation Office (SITO) team.

• Define the target Business Architecture of the CMS department in line with management vision and strategy
• Build and maintain Business Capability Maps to guide strategic priorities
• Identify and define Data Domains, Data Owners, and Conceptual Business Information Models
• Support the introduction of AI at the business architecture level
• Lead the definition and validation of Business Architecture Blueprints in collaboration with Domain and Solution Architects
• Ensure alignment between IT architecture, IT roadmap, and business strategy
• Contribute to the refinement of architecture methodologies, frameworks, and tools
• Facilitate cross-departmental alignment across Assets, Strategy, Infrastructure, CDO, and IT

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business and information architecture
• Degree in civil or commercial engineering, or a Master’s in a scientific discipline
• Strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD), UML, BPMN, and Archimate (mandatory)
• Experience with AI implementation at the architecture level is a strong asset
• Knowledge of the utilities/energy sector is a major advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch required
